We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. The highlight of our stay was the delicious food served at the hotel's restaurant. The menu offered a variety of options and the quality of the dishes exceeded our expectations. the hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and beautiful scenery for leisurely walks.
While our stay was overall fantastic, we did have a few minor gripes. the twin beds in our room were a bit small, which made it slightly less comfortable.

This hotel satisfied all our requirements for a short economy break in North Cornwall. Spotlessly clean with all essential services provided by polite efficient staff. Better value for money would be hard to find.

The breakfast was very good and there was a beautiful vista from the dining room across the golf course.

We had a fantastic stay at Bowood Park! Our room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. They even provided plenty of coffee, tea, and milk, such a refreshing touch. The added bonus of bottled water was much appreciated. We enjoyed two delicious meals in the bar, and even though it was a golf hotel, the prices were fair and the quality of the food was excellent. The buffet-style breakfast offered plenty of choices, but we also had the option to request cooked-to-order items. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and cute.

I stayed at Bowood with my daughter (aged 15) and it was one of the few hotels we have stayed in where she was treated like the mature sensible person that she is, and not ignored or brushed aside by staff. The room was nice and spacious and the staff were really friendly. We also had a great view. The only thing we were disappointed about was that we did not get a balcony, but maybe next time.

Great location, close to key attractions and convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we had a hiccup with our car rental. The fully equipped kitchen in the 2 bedroom flat was a convenient feature.
The restaurant's food quality was inconsistent, with one meal being average and the other being better. It seemed to cater more towards hungry golfers than for general diners.

my husband and i really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpfull, it was to be a relaxing short break and thats exactly what it was, although we do not play golf as yet we were not made to feel out of place, some golf club and hotels can be very stuffy and a bit snobby, Bowood Park was not bit like that. We are planning another trip bringing a friend and having a game of golf this time. Thankyou and we look forward to next time.

Good enough considering it was a 3 * hotel. A good location as it was just off of a main route and within easy reach of North Cornwall's beaches. Good also if you like golf.
The 'Double bed' was really two pushed together. Our room had a very small T.V. placed a long way from the bed, so was difficult to watch. The breakfast wasn't very inspiring either. A slightly over fried breakfast.

Stylish and comfortable rooms with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The self-contained flatlet was spacious, clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen and lounge area. The friendly staff made our stay even more pleasant. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions such as Port Isaac and Tintagel. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We liked the location and the quiet countryside to return to after a day out. We also liked the value for money on bar meals and drinks. We couldn't fault anything during our stay and will probably visit again.

Booked primarily because of location, i.e. only 10 minutes from where friends live. Food and accomodation both good, and staff very helpful and friendly.
